SIFT for Safer Spaces, Mental Health and Authentic Connections!
SIFT is creating safer spaces across Canada where youth and adults closest to them explore, experience, and build capacity towards: belonging, self-care, wellbeing, and positive social identities. We’re taking SIFT on the road to classrooms, community centres, and youth serving organizations. We have grant funding to bring safer space workshops for youth and/or training sessions for adults to you.

Safer Spaces and Social Identity Formation
Our model describes creating positive safer spaces that respect differences, on-line and off-line. The program supports young people to explore diversity and define positive social identities for themselves, against many influences.

Beyond the Birds and the Bees
Beyond the Birds and the Bees is a webinar series developped by the Students Commission of Canada in partnership with Healthy School BC. It was designed to support educators in enriching their understanding of British Columbia’s updated Physical and Health Education Curriculum for secondary students and to provide teaching tools to assist with the delivery of what can be sensitive and sometimes uncomfortable content to teach.
