Take Our Kids to Work (TOKW) is Canada’s leading career-exploration program, providing young people with meaningful opportunities to experience the world of work, discover diverse career pathways, and connect their learning to future possibilities.
Since 2022, the Students Commission of Canada has led the national delivery of TOKW, building on our commitment to youth engagement and empowerment. Through innovative resources, workplace experiences, and career exploration opportunities, we continue to evolve the program to reflect the changing nature of work and help prepare young people for the future.

A youth doesn’t have an in-person placement for the day? We’ve got you covered! TOKW Career Live! is a national day-long virtual event designed to bring career exploration to life for students across Canada. It provides a unique platform where students can engage in real-time with professionals from various industries, ask questions, and gain insights into a wide array of career paths. Choose the guest(s) or session(s) that interest your students the most and get ready to learn!
