Tiny Giant/The Students Commission/The Centre of Excellence for Youth Engagement is responsible for maintaining and protecting the personal information information under its control. Every effort has been made and will be made to keep personal information secure. The knowledge and consent of the user are required for the collection, use or disclosure of user personal information. Tiny Giant/The Students Commission/The Centre of Excellence for Youth Engagement collect personal information for the following purposes:
- Discussion Forum registration
- Ordering and Delivery of products / Information regarding new products
- Receiving our newsletters, updates, new opportunities, annual reports
- Research / Follow-up research and evaluation
- If you disclose that any child under the age of 16 years is being abused or is currently at risk of being abused, the information must be reported to a local child welfare agency by law.

Personal information presented to Tiny Giant/The Students Commission/The Centre of Excellence for Youth Engagement with submission and/or research is kept confidential. If any personal information is be used for research purposes, prior notification will be given. We are an educational, non-profit organization concerned with the safety of the young people we are committed to serving. Published submissions (print or online) will contain no last names or cities to eliminate the identification and/or tracking of authors through their published work.
I HEREBY grant to "The Students Commission" and those authorized on its behalf, including its official and non-official partners, the right to photograph, record on film, videotape, audiotape, other audiovisual or written format, my voice, person, or other material produced by me related to the "The Students Commission" Conference and the work of "The Centre of Excellence for Youth Engagement" which "The Students Commission" is leading, and grant also the non-exclusive right, license and privilege under copyright, or other right, or license enjoyed by me, to use, broadcast, cablecast, reproduce, print, publish and distribute the above in any format for educational and promotional purposes, worldwide, in perpetuity. I warrant and represent that the rights granted herein, and the use thereof will in no way infringe or violate any trade mark patent, trade name, or copyright of any person, and I hereby release "The Students Commission" and its partners from all actions, claims and demands arising from the above grant, except those arising from "The Students Commission's" negligence; and agree to indemnify and save "The Students Commission" harmless from all claims, costs, charges, damages and expenses arising from the breach of the above warrant.
Accountability. Organizations are responsible for the uses of the information they collect, must ensure its proper handling by third parties with whom they share it, and must appoint someone who is responsible for the organizations handling of personal information.
Identifying purposes. Persons collecting personal information shall identify the purposes for which the data is being collected at or before the time the information is collected.
Consent. Knowledge and consent of the individual are required for the collection, use or disclosure of personal information, with exceptions for emergencies, law enforcement and debt collection.
Limiting Collection. Indiscriminate collection of information is prohibited. The amount and type of information collected shall be limited to that which is necessary to fulfilling the purposes that have been identified.

Compliance Challenges. Individuals will be entitled to direct a challenge regarding the principles listed above to any organization through that organization's designated privacy agent who is accountable for his or her organization's compliance.
